I’m sure there are many Trump supporters working at all sort of companies, but thanks for letting me know that Chris Pratt hasn’t been fired for expressing his views as has Gina Carano.
Did she not wear a mask at work between filming or did she merely complain about masks online? Did she riot at a protest or did she merely express her opinion about safeguarding against voter fraud with words? Did she compare her circumstances to the Holocaust or was she making the point that dehumanising and demonising people is always the first step? It’s just words, it’s just an opinion, the best way to counter words you think are inaccutate is through…well, your words and not by punishing or silencing the speaker by demaning their cancellation.
Not everyone is going to agree with you or hold all the same things sacred. Someone might use an analogy you don’t like, or question a policy you approve of, or find something you think reasonable risible or disagreeable and say so… and yet, I don’t think they should lose their job over it.
