My god, what is this claptrap? No one is “assigned” a biological sex. It’s observed. Babies are very easily categorised on sight, unless there’s ambiguity due to a disorder of sexual development. No way to tell if they’ll grow up male but demanding to use women’s changerooms and play in women’s sports ahead of time, though.
If some people feel so stereotypically feminine they wish to don women’s clothing, that’s their business, but I can’t in good conscience pretend that they have anything meaningfully in common with the opposite sex, particularly enough to be labelled or treated as such. A transwoman is a transwoman, a man who subjectively feels female and wishes people would play along. Males and females aren’t the same.
According to gender identity ideology you’re a woman if you feel like it, an opt-in if not opt-out system, the word is then rendered meaningless, utterly without purpose, conveying no useful information except someone’s convoluted appraisal of how sex atypical they judge their behaviour to be.
Why do we so disrespectfully deny women’s lived, bodily experience? Imagine humouring trans-racial, abled, and aged people to this degree?
