No, the fear of criticism is rather pathetic. I mean, you’ve critiqued my article as being too reductive (as is your right), have you not? Should we fire all film and literary critics then? I’m not sure in what way people who write bland statements with line breaks can improve, there isn’t room to go anywhere if you think this constitutes a poem. Anyway, it’s acknowledgement of suckage that lets us improve, not safe spaces and being wrapped in cotton wool.
